Voiager Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 27 August 2026
⚠️ Draft pending legal review. The provider’s details need filling in and a professional needs to review this before publication.
1. Who provides the service
- Provider: [LEGAL NAME] · Tax ID: [NIF/VAT]
- Address: [FULL ADDRESS]
- Contact: [email protected]
Voiager is an app for recording trips through voice notes, and for planning, organising and recovering those memories with the help of artificial intelligence.
2. Acceptance
Using Voiager means accepting these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Who can use it
- You must be 16 or over.
- You need an account with a valid email address and a password.
- Account details must be truthful, and the account holder is responsible for keeping the password safe and for activity on the account.
- Honest warning: there is currently no automatic password recovery. If you lose it, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out by hand.
4. The service during the beta
Voiager is in beta. Plainly, that means:
- It is free, with no limit on recordings, photos or place pins, and with no payment details required.
- There may be bugs, outages and changes. There is no availability commitment and no service level agreement.
- Features may change or be withdrawn. If something material disappears, we will say so in advance.
- If a paid tier is introduced in future, it will be announced with enough notice and nothing already recorded will ever be charged for retroactively.
5. Your content stays yours
The audio, transcripts, photos and text remain the property of whoever uploads them. Voiager acquires no ownership of them.
To provide the service, you grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free licence to store, transcribe, process and display that content to its author and to nobody else, and only for that purpose.
That licence does not allow: publishing it, transferring it, selling it, using it for advertising, or using it to train artificial intelligence models. When the account is closed, the licence ends.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Upload unlawful content, content that infringes third-party rights, or seriously offensive content.
- Record other people without their knowledge or consent where the law requires it. The person recording is responsible for this.
- Attempt to access other people’s accounts or content.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it in bulk, or use it or its API in an automated or abusive way.
- Use the service to break applicable law.
Breaches may lead to suspension or closure of the account.
7. About the artificial intelligence — please read
Voiager uses AI models to transcribe, summarise, recommend and plan. It is designed not to make things up and to admit what it does not know, but no technology of this kind is infallible. Therefore:
- Answers are indicative and may contain errors.
- They are not advice — legal, immigration, medical, financial or safety.
- Entry requirements for a country — visas, passport validity, vaccinations, compulsory insurance, forms — must always be verified with the official sources of the destination country and of the country that issued your passport. The app says so and points you to those sources; following through is the traveller’s responsibility.
- Opening hours, prices, availability and the existence of venues change. Confirm them before travelling to them.
- Food allergies and intolerances are a health matter: even though the app filters by diet, always confirm at the venue.
- Travel decisions, and their consequences, belong to whoever makes them.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service continuously available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, incidents or reasons beyond our control. It may be modified or suspended; if it were to be discontinued permanently, we will give reasonable notice and a way to retrieve your content.
9. Intellectual property of the service
The software, brand, design and content of Voiager belong to its owner. Copying, modifying or distributing them without written permission is not allowed. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, under the ODbL licence, and is attributed accordingly.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the service, particularly during the beta.
None of the above limits or excludes the rights that consumer law grants to consumers, nor liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. We strongly recommend keeping your own copies of important photos and content.
11. Closing your account and termination
You can stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to [email protected]. Accounts may be suspended for serious breach of these terms, with prior notice unless that is impossible.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. If a change is material, we will say so by email or inside the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the new version.
13. Governing law and disputes
Spanish law applies.
For consumers, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction and all rights granted to you by consumer law are preserved in full. In all other cases, the courts of [CITY] have jurisdiction.
